About Us

Welcome to our page! We are Hippo Equipment. Located in the center of Waverly, NE, along U.S. Highway 6.
We specialize in the sales, service, parts, and rentals of consumer products, acreage machinery, agricultural machinery, light and heavy construction equipment.
Our sales department sells and delivers new and used equipment all over the world, including but are not limited to, consignment and online auctions through AuctionTime.com.
Our service department has a bit of an old school approach. We welcome older equipment that needs repaired. We believe in doing our best to diagnose and repair the problem from the beginning. Unlike many others, we do not replace parts until one fixes the problem. We also ensure our customers are aware of exactly what we repaired on their machines. We rebuild hydraulic components, engines, transmissions, etc. Additionally, we have a fabrication shop, perform trailer repairs and DOT inspections. We pride ourselves in being as knowledgeable, fair, and economically feasible as possible.
Our staff has close to 80 years of experience collectively in all facets of the equipment industry. We have many sources for both OEM and aftermarket parts. If we don’t have what you’re looking for in store, we can likely get it for you promptly.
We have an ever-growing rental department with equipment for your home, farm, and construction needs. We offer many categories of rental equipment ranging from handheld tools, outdoor power equipment, trailers, skid loaders and attachments, lift equipment, trenching and more!
